When exit gates are open, survivors will stay broken for an additional 20/25/30 seconds. While the perk is active, injured, downed and hooked survivors are inflicted with the broken status effect until exit gates are open. When exit gates are powered, this perk activates. This applies specifically during the end of a match after exit gates have been opened: Terminus adds a debuff that negatively impacts survivors’ ability to heal themselves. Auras revealed this way linger for 2 seconds after you stop carrying the survivor. When carrying a survivor, you can see the aura of other survivors within 16/18/20 meters of your position. Awakened Awareness aims to help prevent killers from finding themselves stunned by survivors by increasing their perception. Two more perks, Awakened Awareness and Terminus, were also added. This perk deactivates after vaulting a window. The next time you vault a window, your vaulting speed is increased by 30%/35%/40%. “When a survivor performs a fast vault within 8 meters of you, this perk activates. The official patch notes description for the Project W release reads as follows: We also get a new killer, The Mastermind, who comes with a slew of likewise all-new killer perks. In the new Dead by Daylight Resident Evil: Project W DLC, we see the addition of two new survivors, Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers. If you can imagine any famous horror movie villain, the odds are that Behavior Interactive has considered adding it, or already did so, at one point or another.
One could almost be forgiven for referring to Dead by Daylight as the Avengers or the Mortal Kombat of horror crossovers. Licensed crossovers have long been a centerpiece of Dead By Daylight‘s history, and this Project W release is no exception. The new Dead By Daylight Resident Evil: Project W DLC pack has now gone live, bringing both new content, and reworks to existing content to the frightful DBD universe. Fans of Dead by Daylight and Resident Eviltoday find their two fandoms once again reunited.
